JIANGMEN, South China, Oct. 2 (Xinhua) -- Tianjin overpowered Shandong 3-1 (25-21,16-25,25-11,25-12) to claim its sixth Chinese women's volleyball championship on Friday.

The northern Chinese team had won the trophy in 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007 and 2017.
