BEIJING, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- China's revised regulation on its science and technology award system will take effect on Dec. 1, 2020.
It clarifies that candidates for the science and technology awards will be nominated by experts, scholars, organizations, and authorities in relevant fields. The nominators should provide nomination materials and are responsible for their authenticity and accuracy.
It highlights that anyone who has violated moral principles and engaged in misconduct in research activities before will be vetoed during the nomination.
In October, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang signed a State Council decree to publish the revised regulation.
