Chinese star pair Sui Wenjing and Han Cong are in second place after the short program at the world figure skating championships.
STOCKHOLM, March 24 (Xinhua) -- With a score of 80.16 points, reigning European champions Aleksandra Boikova/Dmitrii Kozlovskii are in the lead after the pairs short program in the ISU World Figure Skating Championships 2021 in Stockholm.
Two-time world champions Sui Wenjing/Han Cong of China finished second on 77.62, followed by Anastasia Mishina/Aleksandr Galliamov, also representing the Figure Skating Federation of Russia, on 75.79.
Ahead of the free skate on Thursday, all five of the top spots are held by skaters either representing China or the Figure Skating Federation of Russia. Peng Cheng/Jin Yang placed fifth and trail the leaders by just under nine points.
