BAGHDAD, Jan. 26 (Xinhua) -- In the Shorja Market, a main wholesale and commercial center in Iraq's capital Baghdad, artificial flowers imported from China are witnessing a high demand from retail store owners and citizens.

"There is a good demand from Iraqi customers to buy Chinese artificial flowers, especially for weddings, social events, and car decoration," said Jawadin Mohammed, an owner of a wholesale flower center in the market.

People are fascinated by their high quality, aesthetics, and affordable prices, in addition to many options in terms of color and size, he added.
