BEIJING, May 27 (Xinhua) -- Chengdu Rongcheng extended their unbeaten run in the 2023 Chinese Super League (CSL) to 10 games with a 1-0 home win over Nantong Zhiyun on Saturday.
Chengdu broke the deadlock in the 73rd minute when Felipe Silva made a simple finish after midfielder Romulo sent the ball to the edge of the box.
Newly-promoted Nantong has only one win from 10 league games.
Elsewhere, Cangzhou Mighty Lions beat Wuhan Three Towns 2-1. Wei Shihao gave Wuhan an early lead in the first minute before Mile Skoric's goal in the second half helped Cangzhou level things up.
The winning goal for Cangzhou came with 10 minutes to go, when Deabeas Owusu-Sekyere beat Wuhan keeper Liu Dianzuo.
