Posters: How the Chinese observe traditional solar term of Mangzhong

BEIJING, June 5 (Xinhua) -- "Mangzhong", or "Grain in Ear", the ninth of the 24 solar terms on the Chinese lunisolar calendar, falls on June 5, 2026. It marks the ripening of awned crops and the prime sowing window for summer-sown grain, making it one of the busiest farming periods of the year.
